Rolling Meadows, a 100 acre yoga and meditation retreat center over-looking the hills of coastal Maine, provides a
unique environment for inner reflection away from the stimulation, demands and distractions of daily life. Scheduled silent retreats for up to 10 participants are offered throughout the year blending meditation, creatively-explored hatha yoga, and guidance in the direct path of self-inquiry.
The format of these retreats has been developed over the years to provide a supportive environment to allow us to shed light on the habits and patterns that keep us from living in the ease and peace of our true nature.
A container of shared silence is maintained during these yoga retreats, except during the sessions. Silence is restful, being the mirror of our natural state. This silent community creates a supportive environment in which to surrender to the inner silence, allowing us to question our conditioned beliefs and surrender to the truth of our being.
Patricia Brown and Surya Chandra Das are the teachers at this yoga retreat center, bringing 30 years of teaching and practice, encouraging students to cultivate intuitive receptivity and openness guiding them to find the unique expression of their True Nature. They also travel to lead yoga retreats in Guatemala, Mexico, and throughout the US.A

Deborah Keene is a Waterville, Maine native. She is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Registered Yoga Teacher with over 30 years experience. She is known as a spirited, down to earth teacher who speaks from her heart. She combines her gentle,easy manor,her humor, compassion, and deep sense of knowing in all of her offerings. Her heart-based teachings, which are deeply influenced by nature’s cycles and rhythms, encourage inner listening along with body, mind and spirit practices.
Enjoy private or group instruction in Kripalu style yoga. Learn pranayama/breathing techniques, balance, standing/seated/prone,
inverted asanas/poses and meditation. Props and safe modifications are encouraged. Appropriate for beginner-intermediate levels. Graduated 2014 with Kripalu 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training diploma. Insured and certified by Yoga Alliance.
