Having spent close to 20 years in industrial sites providing support for environmental, safety and health programs,
I have a keen interest in how ergonomics, stress and anxiety affect people at work. I am also a runner (half marathons and marathons), sensitive to the stresses placed on the body of athletes. I have taken these interests and developed yoga programs to help people cope with whatever their bodies and minds are experiencing.

Muskegon Yoga provides an environment to enhance your practice of Yoga. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate,
or advanced in your practice, our goal is to offer a peaceful, serene center with experienced teachers to guide the development of your practice. Muskegon Yoga offers a variety of yoga styles for all students.
The main focus for all of our classes is to embrace the therapeutic component of yoga. Yoga can have a rejuvenating
effect on all systems of the body including the circulatory, digestive, glandular, musculoskeletal, nervous, reproductive and respiratory systems. More specifically, Yoga can be used successfully with conditions such as addictions, back problems, chronic pain, digestion, insomnia, poor circulation, mood disorders and weight loss — just to name a few. Yoga is a great way to re-balance your physical, emotional and spiritual body as you establish healthy self-care strategies. We offer everything from gentle yoga with an Iyengar focus to Hot Yoga with an emphasis on quieting the mind.
