Sit well, Be well offers a yoga practice while on a chair to support those who find it difficult to get up and down
off the floor. The practice can be accessed through the internet for the convenience of staying in the comfort of your home. Private sessions and group classes are available in the southeast metropolitan Detroit area.

as well as a variety of fitness classes and a cardio/weight room. Our center has a non-intimidating atmosphere, with certified trainers and specialists. We specialize in fitness for adults midlife and beyond. Drop ins are welcome. We offer 2 weeks free to all new participants. Monthly and Yearly FitPass available.

David Seth Fink, MLS, E-RYT began his meditation training in 1978 at the age of 12, and his movement training at the
age of 14. Originally trained as a dancer, he began teaching Pilates in 1987. In 2004 David completed Alison West's Yoga Union teacher training and then continued studying other forms of alignment based Yoga . David holds degrees in literature, dance history, and library science. He is the author of the poetry collection Lateral Psalms, and was a consultant to Ellen Saltonstall on her Anatomy Teacher Training Manual. David works privately and in groups with students who have chronic physical and psychological challenges. His practice and teaching are influenced by the wide variety of movement education and healing modalities he has studied and experienced, his commitment to teaching as an act of present moment awareness, and his understanding of how embodied mindfulness dissipates harmful patterns held in the body, mind, heart and soul.

StrongHeart Yoga is a new studio dedicated to the practice of yoga, the first of it's kind in Warren. Until now, yoga
students in Warren have shared spaces or found themselves traveling to other communities to discover the practice. StrongHeart Yoga is committed to providing yoga with a room of it's own in the neighborhood. Our goal is to create a warm and inviting space that will nurture both practiced students and those completely new to yoga. And we hope to be a valuable addition to the community; a place where people can come together on a path to greater wellness and well-being.
