International & Minnesota Classes, Retreats, Workshops, Presentations, Journeys and Peace Ambassador. Our Mission:
To help make people aware of the powerful tool we all have in our breath to make positive changes in every part of our being in order: to create balance, harmony and peace within and then to take those changes out into the world.
I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in more than one hundred
dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
Maryann Parker has studied yoga all over the world and taught yoga in the Twin Cities for over 35 years. Maryann brings
a fearless and nurturing spirit that fosters a cameraderie within the group and encourages each person to exceed his or her physical and mental limitations to make great strides in their yoga practice. Her teaching style is disciplined and rigorous yet constructive, affirming and kind. In-home classes, retreats, restorative yoga, teacher's training available.
Classes are built around a theme as I invite you to take a little time out of your day to relax, stretch and work
on building strength and flexibility by focusing on alignment. Influenced by the Anusara and Iyengar styles, modifications/use of props are given to enable each student to fit the pose to their body. I completed the rigorous 230 hour yoga study/teacher training at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis. Private sessions. Classes: YMCA on Mondays 9:15a, and Thursdays 6:00p. Also Spark Wellness Monday evenings at 6:00.
