Cape Hatteras Yoga provides Hatha yoga to individual and groups. We are a mobile business providing sessions at the
beach, private residence, and vacation homes. Kristine Caroppoli, founder, is a RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance. She is a practicing yogi of 10+ years. Kristine received her Teacher's Training in the spring of 2012. Areas of specialty include yoga for athletes and therapeutic yoga. Alignment and biomechanics are key focal areas. Hatha yoga styles focus on asanas (poses) and pranayama (breath). We offer the spectrum from Yin (passive stretching) to Vinyasa Flow (vigorous movement through poses). Typical practice includes: meditation, breathwork, asanas, and relaxation. 60-90 minute sessions available. Yoga mats provided. We currently offer the following yoga classes:
Hatha Yoga (1.5 hours) A slower paced and eclectic format of asanas, paranayama, vinyasa combinations, with emphasis on breath and relaxation.
Advanced Yoga (1.5 hours) A faster path to moving meditation, extreme postures injected among salutations and strengthening asanas. Catering to the knowledgeable and experienced practitioner; intermediate to advance only.
Gentle Yoga (1.5 hours) Lots of stretch and folds to help you unwind, soften and soothe the worried mind. A great multi-level class; perfect for the beginner.
Yoga by the Beach “YBTB” (1.5 hours) A pool-side Hatha yoga session overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Takes place daily at 8am at our ocean-front Beach Klub, located on the south side of the Avon Pier. Mats and towels provided. Participants are encouraged to bring water!
