Opening in 1996, PCYH, a yoga and holistic health center, was the first studio of its kind in our area. Our mission is to provide a warm, comfortable and inviting environment in which to explore different paths to health, healing and personal growth. Susan teaches traditional Hath Yoga, Vinyasa, Gentle Flow, Restorative and Prana Yoga. Susan’s yoga classes are an
opportunity for individual growth and transformation, where students learn to tap in to their own sense of peace and inner joy. Combining her experience as a yogi, healer and educator, Susan guides her students on their own inward journey where they are able to reduce stress of the mind and body, build concentration and find the courage to trust their own Inner Wisdom.
Private Yoga: Susan specializes in teaching private yoga classes in order to meet the unique needs of each student. Traditionally, yoga was passed down from teacher to student. Susan follows in this tradition by tailoring private yoga classes to meet you where you are, physically, emotionally and spiritually. leaders in natural and holistic health. Onsen for all offers yoga, meditation, nutrition and a variety of classes to nourish the mind and soothe the soul. These educational offerings are a valuable resource of support and knowledge for individuals in their search for wellness.
We also offer a 200-hour Teacher Training Program. The 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Certified Immersion at Onsen for All will offer you the opportunity to grow as a yoga practitioner and the training required to become a Registered Yoga Teacher. Topics covered will include Yoga Philosophy & Lifestyle, Asana Practice & Teaching, Physical & Energetic Anatomy, Teaching Methodology, Business & Ethics for Yoga Teachers, Meditation & Breath Awareness, Applications of Yoga in the Modern World, and Introductions to Teaching Private Yoga, Prenatal Yoga & Yoga for Seniors. Classes will meet 2 evenings per week (6p - 9:30p) and 1 full weekend per month (8a - 2p both days). Students will also be required to assistant teach under the supervision of the lead teachers for 5 hours during the program. Tentative program dates: October 2013 - March 2014. The program will begin once the enrollment minimum of 6 has been reached.
YogaStream is a challenging, creative, sustainable and safe yoga method that emphasizes anatomy, alignment and intelligent
sequencing. With precise instruction and nurturing encouragement, YS teachers help students improve and advance their practices. Students leave every YogaStream class soaked, but inspired to meet life head on (or upside down!) We believe that being strong on the mat helps us to be stronger and better in our lives.
YogaStream offers an array of vinyasa-based classes that are appropriate for all levels. We are dedicated to spread the love of yoga in the community, offering weekly donation classes with proceeds benefitting local charitable organizations.
