Breath Centered Yoga, coming from my studies of Desikachar and Krischnamacharya, invites the individual to enter their
yoga practice with the mind set of self discovery. This style of yoga is not about perfecting a particular pose or form, it's about understanding the function of what you are doing. You can learn more about PATTY HOLMES and THE YOGA GARDEN at yogagardenwp. com.

Personal classes as well as group classes with great results following Indian traditional Yoga style with a powerful style of yoga that involves matching the movement of the breath with the movement in and out of postures. The focus devoted to correct breathing helps the practitioner to create internal heat, which, over time, purifies the blood and results in a body that is light and strong, and a mind that is focused and calm.

New York-based yoga instructor Laurie Jordan is the author of YAWNING YOGA: A GOODNIGHT BOOK FOR A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP,
the creator of Little Sprouts Yoga for Kids and the Director of Kids Programs at Kaia Yoga. She shares her expertise on all things kids yoga as a contributing writer for Elephant Journal. She has a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work and is a certified yoga instructor for children and adults.
Laurie’s classes are a refreshing departure from the idea that yoga must be very serious and almost no fun at all. On the contrary, her classes combine her playful sense of humor and laid back approach with years of experience as both a yoga teacher and yoga student. Add to that mix, an awesome music soundtrack–and Laurie’s classes feel like a 75 minute celebration
