We are a community based yoga studio offering classes for all ages and levels.
We have a teacher training program,
our program is recognized by the Yoga Alliance as R.Y.T. 200. The teacher training program is comprehensive and will allow graduates to feel comfortable teaching in many settings and in different styles. Sheree Nicholson, Studio Director E-RYT 500 teaches the course.
Classes are suited for beginner and intermediate students alike and are taught by a certified and registered hatha
yoga teacher from a home studio. The classes are taught in the tradition of Kripalu, with special focus on alignment, breathing and relaxation. Class size range from 3-7 students to ensure individualized attention. Here at the studio we believe in adapting the yoga to the person and not the person to the yoga.
"Raise Your Energy" workshops consist of specific yoga poses, breathing techniques, energy techniques, self-Reiki,
visualizations, affirmations, sound vibration and a very magical meditation! We use specific crystals and specific archangels to assist the chakra we are energizing into balance. Please contact Susan directly to find out where and when the next workshop takes place.

My classes are reflective in nature and emphasize listening to the body, deepening your relationship with your Self
and using Hatha Yoga as a preparation for entering a deeper state of awareness within.
My goal as a teacher is to share the abundance, freedom, and healing that can come from yoga.
Gentle Hatha Yoga: In a safe and nurturing atmosphere, this class will teach the fundamentals of yoga. Students will improve their basic posture, develop alignment, and create mobility in the joints, leaving class with a new found awareness of the body and a deep sense of relaxation. This class is suitable for any level of flexibility or fitness.
Intermediate/Advanced Yoga: Recommended for students who have familiarity with sun salutations and basic standing postures. Emphasis on movement and breath awareness into asana (posture) flow; continuous movement between postures. A practice that challenges, stretches, and strengthens the body in order to relax and refresh the mind.
Children's Yoga: Children from ages 4 - 12 will learn basic yoga postures, breathing, and guided relaxation. Your child will feel comfortable in the easy, natural and non-competitive atmosphere.

Hatha classes are taught by Laraine Lalita Holt RYT, certified Integral Yoga® instructor and registered with the Yoga Alliance, the regulatory body which governs Yoga teachers and holds them to strict levels of quality and training. Lalita is also a certified Yoga Therapist for Cancer & Chronic Illness. Formerly a professional ballet dancer, having performed with companies such as the National Ballet of Canada, Lalita’s association with Integral Yoga® began thirteen years ago when she first visited Satchidananda Ashram in Virginia. Since that time she has received instruction from senior Integral Yoga ® teachers, culminating in her graduation from Integral Yoga® Teacher Training. Lalita is one of the very few teachers in the GTA offering instruction in genuine Integral Yoga.
Meditation classes are taught by Krishna Holt, who began training in Integral Yoga® in 1980 and took initiation in 1981. He has spent nearly 30 years practicing the teachings of Integral Yoga, studying directly with Sri Swami Satchidananda and his senior monks for more than twenty-five years. In 1986 he was given the designation of Guru Tattwa Ratnam (Jewel of the Guru's Teachings), an award in recognition of a life devoted to the principles of Integral Yoga®.
