Gentle yoga for all ages, body types and fitness levels in an intimate environment on Chemong Lake, 10 minutes north
of Peterborough. Each class is thoughtfully planned to include plenty of time for centering and deep relaxation. Modifications and props are offered to facilitate a positive experience for every practitioner. Classes include elements of Meditation for stress and Somatics for pain management.
Yoga inspires people to live a more balanced life. In yoga we do a series of postures designed to stretch, strengthen
and tone muscles while detoxifying the body and calming the mind. What we learn on the yoga mat helps us cope better with our day to day stresses.
People often think you already need to be flexible and strong to do yoga, this is not the case. Many people who come to class could not touch their toes when they started. Flexibility and strength improve with yoga.
Yoga promotes physical and emotional health by reducing stress, weight issues, anxiety, fatigue, aging, migraines, digestive disorders, depression, chronic pain/weakness, grief, arthritis, sleep problems and so much more.

Peterborough Living Yoga is a gathering space for conscious community in Peterborough and the Kawarthas. We offer weekly
classes in Yoga and meditation, a YA Certified 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training, Continuing Education for Yoga Teachers, and community events and workshops.

She teaches a blend of these styles, drawing on the vigor of ashtanga, the precision of Scaravelli and the therapeutic and philosophical approach of Viniyoga. She also offers one-on-one Yoga Therapy and Thai Yoga Massage Therapy. Wavelengths offers both the 200hr and the full 500hr Yoga Teacher Training with a trauma sensitive approach to teaching.
