Mark offers a mindful energy flow class, balancing challenging sequences with many options. Mark's
teaching style is light-hearted and eclectic and his classes invite students to both challenge and honour themselves. Mark allows for humour, compassion and patience for each to deepen their own practice, through awareness of body, breath and mind.
Mark, is a perpetual student, having practiced yoga for years, he recognizes that it is the yoga that is the teacher. Mark completed his teacher training certification with Prana Shanti, and is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT-200).
Balance Within Yoga and Wellness is geared towards helping you become more aware of your own body to find the Balance
Within. All classes are open to all levels of experience. All classes are Drop in. Reservations are not necessary except for Sunday Family Yoga. Some cultures depict Maitreya as the Laughing Buddha whom you will meet every time you step onto our studio floor. One popular belief in folklore states that rubbing the Laughing Buddha's belly brings wealth, good luck, and prosperity.
This class is designed for those who prefer a class less vigorous. It includes gentle stretches and breathing as
well as simple movements designed to systemically increase the range of motion of every major joint and increase energy. This class is ideal for students with chronic symptoms such as muscle/joint pain, stiffness, weakness, or fatigue. 90-minute class.
Terri Morgan, is a Yoga Therapist and Yoga instructor. She received her yoga therapy training with California’s Yapana
Master Yoga Intensive which focuses on applying yoga therapy principles to prevent and heal injuries. As a Yapana® yoga therapist, her classes are taught with functionality and alignment in mind. The classes are modified and adapted to meet the individual needs of students at all levels of experience and skill. Hands on adjustments are offered and props are used when necessary, bringing the pose to the student not the student to the pose. Terri teaches from her own studio and is available to provide classes at your work, conferences, home, Retirement Residence, or school
At Sattva yoga you will experience a balanced, calm and compassionate yoga practice that will integrate a variety

You will feel the support of a professional, caring and highly trained teacher with over 30 years of yoga experience. Jo-Anne has been passionate about teaching yoga since 1997 within her home community of Kanata. Her Professional Level Yoga Certification represents over 1000 hours of training in various yoga styles and therapies. Realize the benefits of releasing physical & mental tensions and leave feeling grounded, clear and relaxed. A variety of class levels are offered in addition to private yoga classes.
