Wavelengths offers classes in Ashtanga, Viniyoga (as taught by TKV Desikachar) and the Scaravelli approach in Peterborough and Norwood, Ontario. Owner, Caroline Owen has studied with Pattabhi Jois, TKV Desikachar and Esther Myers. She teaches a blend of these styles, drawing on the vigor of ashtanga, the precision of Scaravelli and the therapeutic and philosophical approach of Viniyoga. She also offers one-on-one Yoga Therapy and Thai Yoga Massage Therapy. Wavelengths offers both the 200hr and the full 500hr Yoga Teacher Training with a trauma sensitive approach to teaching.
I teach beginner and intermediate Hatha Yoga as well as Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. Classes are Monday mornings 9:00 or Monday evenings at 7:45 at the Campbellford Library. They are an hour and half long and cost is $100.00. Classes are also held at the Curling Club aty 5:00 p.m. for an hour cost is $75.00. A Wednesday evening class is held at 6:30 p.m. at the Antevasin Studio for one and a half hours for $90.00. All classes run for 8 weeks.
