Almost twenty years ago, Kathy McWilliam experienced “love at first breath” when she attended her first Yoga class.
The unique practice of Yoga, encompassing body, mind and soul, inspired Kathy to deepen her own practice and share her love of Yoga with others. She received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification and is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Kathy also studied Yoga Philosophy and Meditation with Tony Murdock from the Yoga Centre of Burlington.
Being a runner and cyclist, Kathy realizes the benefits of incorporating aYoga practice as an effective method of cross-training, to strengthen and tone, as well as increasing flexibility to reduce the risk of injury. Kathy teaches Beginner Hatha, Vinyasa Flow and specializes in teaching Yoga for Runners.
Elaine is a Kripalu trained yoga teacher (200 hr) and Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga certified teacher. She is a long time
mindfulness meditation practitioner. She teaches Gentle and beginner Hatha yoga classes at 142 Lake St., St Catharines and also offers private instruction. Elaine' s credo is Breathe, Stretch, Strengthen & Relax as she leads her classes through classical hatha postures. She encourages the development of non-judgmental awareness during yoga practice and in daily life. Elaine's intention is to guide her students to improved health, stress relief and deeper self understanding.
