The yoga program at the Dragon Gym specializes in Power Vinyasa flow. In a semi private setting instructor Shannon
LaSpina Audet RYT 200 guides the students to link movement and breath. Classes are smaller in size to ensure all students are receiving individualized attention on and off their mats. Housed in a martial arts studio, power yoga compliments and respects other programs at the gym. These classes are for all levels, ages and body types. At Dragon Gym, our yoga program helps build physical and mental strength for a less stressful lifestyle.
If you have back pain, neck pain, knee pain or a crazy-busy mind, you need Svaroopa® yoga, our specialty. Your class
begins with a guided relaxation and yogic breathing process. Each pose targets a specific part of your spine, to unravel your core tensions, creating space between your vertebrae and for your internal organs. You end with another guided relaxation. From your first class, you can tell that this stuff works. Yoga International described Svaroopa® yoga, “Svaroopa® yoga is not exercise. You don't need exercise. You need a scientific maximization of your body's capacity, dissolving the tensions that inhibit your body's natural functioning and inherent healing capacity.” Private yoga therapy sessions are also available. Yoga for the Average Guy & Gal
This class integrates poses that will help you loosen up and teach you methods of
breathing, ultimately improving your performance in the Krav Maga and Martial Arts programs at Premier Martial Arts (However, you do not have to be a martial arts student, all are welcome!). There are no complicated poses and no foreign words; this class is stress free and for the average guy and gal. Through this class your flexibility, range of motion, and recovery will improve, allowing you to gain an edge in your training. This class is good for all levels of participants and you can advance and challenge yourself at your own pace.
Saturdays from 7:30-8:30am starting September 7th There will be no classes 11/2, 11/30, 12/21, 12/28. Classes may be subject to change.
$12/class (Drop ins Welcome!) or 10 class package for $100 Cash or checks can be given to instructor. We apologize but no refunds can be given for unused classes.

Blended Yoga is a set of classes, services, and workshops I developed to help you rest, reset, reconnect, get strong,
get energized, and rock your life.
It’s a combination of Hatha (stationary), Vinyasa (flowing), and Yin (longer held poses) Yoga. A typical class moves through a set of flowing sequences to help you build heat and burn off your day, a set of challenging poses to help you feel strong, empowered, and maybe a little bad-ass, and then a set of slow, calm, yin sequences to help you wind down, get still, and reconnect.
Yoga helps you move stuff. Shift stuff. Process stuff. Burn off the day. Burn through the stress. Breathe.
I specialize in personal (or small group) Yoga instruction in the comfort of your own home. I will travel within a
25 mile radius of my house. Because the instruction is so personalized, I can not describe the actual class itself, but my chief training is in Classical Yoga... I am in the process of building a Yoga studio/ healing sanctuary and will soon be offering a free community Yoga class on Sundays at 11am ...
