A student of yoga for many years, Raymond offers the student a variety of styles blended into his teachings. Classes
are mixed level and are taught to beginners and experienced students. Yoga classes are taught with corporations, high schools and universities or colleges. Yoga Displays, Discussions and Demonstrations are done for Wellness Fairs and other events. The Yoga teachings are based on years of experience. A basic understanding of yoga is taught to establish a foundation for the student to grow from. Knowing the foundations of yoga helps to create a safe environment to develop confidence. Breathing Techniques along with Alignment Principles are a part of every class as well as moderate stretching and relaxation. The practice of yoga connects us with our internal sense of how to use our body. In our classes you will be encouraged
to stretch and use muscles without unnatural strain and to regard breath and movement as equally important. Our highly qualified instructors will offer physical posture adjustments only to those who would like them. Our studio space holds about a dozen people comfortably, which is important for those who wish to have more individualized attention during a yoga class.

We are a small yoga studio just minutes from downtown Lancaster. We offer muti-level Vinyasa flow classes mornings
and evenings. In addition we have Slow Flow and Gentle Yoga for a more relaxing yoga practice. BYS also has Chair Yoga which is great for those who have limited mobility. Recently we added Yin Yoga as well as Restorative for longer holds with the use of props. Our Prenatal Yoga runs in 6 week sessions and lead by a doula.
