Jivamukti Yoga Charleston offers vigorously physical and intellectually stimulating yoga classes. The emphasis is
on teaching yoga as a spiritual practice. Classes consists of vinyasa (flowing asana sequences), hands-on adjustments, pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, Sanskrit chanting, yoga philosophy, and deep relaxation. To keep the practice unanticipated, asana sequences are ever-changing. Uplifting and inspirational music from Krishna Das to Michael Franti plays an integral role in class.
The Yoga House of Charleston is a beautiful new studio in West Ashley! We offer the Charleston Area pure, powerful
insight into the ancient practice of yoga. The studio features a large, welcoming 1200 sq ft yoga practice room and has been designed using sustainable building products and furnishings.
We offer an array of classes, including but not limited to Anusara-inspired, hot yoga, vinyasa flow, prenatal, post-natal, yin, restorative, Jivamukti style, and gentle yoga. At TYH, we believe yoga should be affordable and accessible to everyone, and our class fees reflect that. Our internationally trained instructors are highly qualified and enjoy working with first-timers, advanced yogis, and everyone in-between.
