Sumits Yoga was created by Sumit Banerjee based on his own years of experience practicing and teaching various styles
including Bikram and Vinyasa. His sequence and style of teaching reinforces his primary objectives as a teacher: helping others to realize the powerful wellness benefits of yoga including a stronger, toned and more flexible body and an improved state of mind encouraging relaxation, self-acceptance and awareness.
It is our intention to offer the gifts of Hatha yoga in a nurturing and non-judgmental environment by inspiring and
guiding all students on their transformational journey to self-realization. Our teachers are professionally trained and certified, and are registered with the Yoga Alliance. Because each instuctor brings indivuality and unique capabilities to the mat, we encourage you to travel through our classes, deriving elements from each of us that best suit your needs.
Each class ends in our signature Savasana - a hot aromatic towel over the eyes, a hip alignment and wonderful mini shoulder and neck rub to wash away any remaining tension and to deepen relaxation. This personal touch is our way of helping you sustain the sense of peace and stability you have a acheived through your practice in our beautiful and tranquil studio.
