Phoenix Rising Yoga Studio centers its methods around a holistic approach. It is an ongoing journey of discovery in search of more answers and ultimately, living better, being healthier and striving for wholeness.

HIV/Aids yoga offers: anxiety reduction, stress management, and a form of exercise that can be adapted to one's level of energy and stamina. HIV/Aids yoga practice offers something positive for the AIDS patient to do to help counteract feelings of depression, helplessness, and despair.

WHAT IS YOGA ?
Yoga stems from the Sanskrit word
"yuj", meaning to yoke. Yoga is a way to unite the body, mind and spirit. It is also a system for uniting the individual, with God, or universal consciousness, higher power, or whatever word you want to use. Yoga includes physical postures called asanas.
