I teach private, semi-private, and group classes from Kids to Adults - I also teach Partner Yoga for couples who want to connect on a deeper, more meaningful level. I am a registered yoga and pilates teacher.
We are a small studio in Spring, TX (on the NW side of Houston) which features highly trained teachers in the areas
of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Meditation, Beginner Yoga, and Power Yoga. We prefer smaller classes (10-18 students) for a more personal attention type of environment. Our teachers offer verbal and hands-on adjustments, are available for questions, and are here to provide the best yoga experience for YOU! You'll also find a small boutique with various animal-friendly items such as soaps, candles, jewelry, and snacks and yoga apparel.
Our classes are six week sessions, morning, evening, weekend classes lasting approximate 1hr 20mins. We have beginner,
intermediate advanced and graduate levels. Our focus is age appropriate asanas suited to the individual, along with pranayama and meditation. We also provide weekend and week long retreats and weekend workshops.
Inner Bliss offers a variety of yoga classes from slow and meditative to challenging and empowering. The signature
style offered is vinyasa flow yoga, a dynamic style of yoga where movement is linked with breath combined with a focus on breath, posture, and steady gaze point. In addition, hatha yoga and yin/yang yoga are offered which focus on alignment, a slower pace, and deeper stretching.
The Woodlands Yoga Studio opened its doors in 2004 and has remained dedicated to serving the community with good Hatha
yoga. Many of our instructors are trained in the Anusara method (aligned based), but we also have instructors trained in Ashtanga (Power) and Yin Yoga (Restorative). Devoid of its metaphysical commitments, as yoga and meditation are methods to regulate body, mind and behavior, I
turned to the field of yoga for its relevance to health, happiness and effectiveness in daily life and endeavored to demystify yoga and develop a yoga psychology, both a theory and a practice based on classical thought such that it is suitable to modern life, whatever may be ones belief system. Yoga psychology is empirical and it is based on reason and experience and not on blind faith or metaphysical explanations.As a psychologist I teach both the theory and practice of yoga and meditation for self-regulation, and to solve problems and to enhance ones being.
I have been conducting classes and workshop of yoga psychology for various target groups for nearly two decades.
I am available to conduct classes, give workshops and also deliver lectures on a number of topics relevant to yoga practitioners, yoga teacher trainees and yoga teachers, who wish to gain a psychological perspective on yoga.
