Our entire staff is devoted to teaching yoga and making your practice the most enjoyable. Throughout the year, we bring world renown instructors in for master classes and workshops. Private and semiprivate yoga classes and yoga therapy tailored to your needs, goals, and schedule—this is an ideal
environment for those who prefer training with an experienced, personal yoga instructor rather than following along in community gyms or public studios. Whether it is your first class or you are an experienced yoga practitioner, I will meet you where you are and guide you to where you wish to be.
The Woodlands Yoga Studio offers beginners, advanced, and Ashtanga yoga classes. They are held in a beautiful studio
surrounded by a peaceful wooded setting. It is probably one of the first yoga studios located in the Houston area. Teachers such as George Purvis and John Friend have taught at the studio inspiring it's formation in the beginning years.

Devoid of its metaphysical commitments, as yoga and meditation are methods to regulate body, mind and behavior, I turned
to the field of yoga for its relevance to health, happiness and effectiveness in daily life and endeavored to demystify yoga and develop a yoga psychology, both a theory and a practice based on classical thought such that it is suitable to modern life, whatever may be ones belief system. Yoga psychology is empirical and it is based on reason and experience and not on blind faith or metaphysical explanations. As a psychologist I teach both the theory and practice of yoga and meditation for self-regulation, and to solve problems and to enhance ones being.
I have been conducting classes and workshop of yoga psychology for various target groups for nearly two decades.
I am available to conduct classes, give workshops and also deliver lectures on a number of topics relevant to yoga practitioners, yoga teacher trainees and yoga teachers, who wish to gain a psychological perspective on yoga. I look forward to work with yoga studios, yoga teachers, and interested individuals or groups in and around The Woodlands, TX.
As I do not have a place of my own to conduct classes, I am willing to teach at any studio or community hall or at home of those who wish to have my classes.
At present I am teaching occasionally at three yoga studios, in The Woodlands and Kingwood. You may contact these websites for details:
