Integral Yoga is a combination of specific methods designed to develop every aspect of the individual: physical, emotional,
mental and spiritual. It integrates the various branches of Yoga to bring complete and harmonious development. Postures are done gently and slowly, giving special attention to the breath and inner awareness. Postures, breathing practices, relaxation and mindfulness work together to strengthen and purify the circulatory, respiratory, digestive and endocrine systems. Time is given to special concerns of each individual. Ånnapoorne was certified through the Integral Yoga Institute in 1979. In 1986 she was among several to receive the title Guru Tatra Ratnam (Gem of the Guru's teachings) from Sri Swami Satchidananda. She has taught in Russia, Italy, and in Integral Yoga Centers, hospitals, corrective facilities, recreational centers, college classes, high schools, community schools and corporations in the United States.
I am a free spirit yoga student and teacher with a focus creating space for healing, self-love & passion for every
breath. When you practice with me, you will be part of a continued discussion of how to incorporate yogic philosophies into your daily life, reminded of your divine perfection, encouraged to be creative & try new things, & supported to focus on light, love & gratitude.
