you are looking to train to teach yoga or you would like to spend the time deepening your understanding of yoga we run regular yoga teacher training programs in South London, you will train with Mahala at her home in a small group of no more than 5 people, you will have the opportunity to "shadow" Mahala in her regular weekly classes in Brixton and Clapham as well as the retreats in the UK and abroad at fantastic venues hand picked by Mahala.

whYoga was established in 1999 by Vicky 'Skip' Oliver ERYT500, SYT, Dip Physical Theatre, BA Hons English, MA Creative
Writing. whYoga conducts general and pregnancy classes in South London and teacher training in Surrey. Skip Oliver is registered with The Yoga Alliance, a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to high educational standards in yoga worldwide. Skip is the author and conductor of two comprehensive training courses that have undergone years of extensive development and study.
Yoga Bananas is a labour of love - a child yoga teacher training that was founded by Vicky 'Skip' Oliver in 1998. It focuses on how to teach yoga to children of a primary school age. Its approach is fun whilst incorporating all the elements of Hatha Yoga. This course is open to yoga teachers and yoga students with a solid yoga practice including Mums who may like to introduce yoga to their own children and school teachers who may like to introduce yoga into the school day. A maximum of 4 people are permitted on each course. The course is a practical working weekend retreat that culminates in a full day of teaching in a primary school. whYoga for Pregnancy is a course that is open to yoga teachers and yoga students with a solid practice including Mums-to-be. The course explores the nature of a forgotten birth physiology that is simple and empowering. The course covers all three trimesters of pregnancy and also the post-partum phase. Earn Yoga Alliance 'Continuing Education Units' with this course.whYoga's training programme for yoga teachers covers pre- and post-natal care, Vicky is a doula, mother of 3 and active birth consultant. whYoga's sister partnership training programme also covers children's yoga under the auspice of Yoga Bananas.
Karen Patterson has been teaching yoga since 1992. She trained with Heinz Grill who has developed the "New Yoga Will".
In this calm, clear and yet active approach, the yoga poses are seen as gestures that express universal meanings. Weekly classes are held in Taunton, Wellington,and in a peaceful, rural studio near Milverton.

Sally Parkes BSc has been teaching health and fitness since 1998 and as well as gaining a degree in Exercise Science,
has studied extensively with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, a leader in the field of women’s well-being. Sally has penned many articles for major publications and is also the author of The Students Guide to Yoga Anatomy. Now a mum of one lively little girl, Bonnie, Sally specialises in delivering solid and thorough yoga teacher training’s in the UK and internationally.
She runs yoga teacher training programs in Hatha, Vinyasa, Pre and Post-natal Yoga, and retreats in the UK, Spain, India and Dubai. She presents fun and upbeat master classes and workshops at various health and well-being conferences including The Yoga Show and The Yoga Festival, and writes regular yoga related articles for Ultra Fit, Yoga Magazine, Om Magazine and Gurgle Magazine, and is a book editor for publications such as ‘The Healing Yoga Bible’.
With a back ground in Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga, Sally’s style of yoga teaching is flowing and strong but allows time for the practitioner to align themselves and maintain steady breathing. She has also studied extensively with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, a leader in the field of women’s health, and draws from this knowledge when teaching pre and post-natal yoga. Sally also teaches Pilates and after teaching for several years in London is now based in Worthing, West Sussex. She is also mum to one daughter, Bonnie. Sally is a registered Senior Yoga Teacher with The Yoga Alliance UK, a Yoga Elder with The Independent Yoga Network and a Level 3 instructor with The Register of Exercise Professionals.
