A weekend of Smart, Mindful Vinyasa Yoga Princeton Yoga is excited that Jason Crandell is making PCYH one of his stops on his world tour! “It is teachers and practitioners like Jason that will take the art of teaching yoga to its next step.” Rodney Yee In this weekend workshop, you will learn how alignment, attention to subtlety, and mindfulness cultivates greater depth in your flow practice. Said to have a “knack for explaining subtle movements in a way everyone can understand” (Yoga Journal), Jason will help you deepen your practice—teaching you to expand your edge, refine your knowledge, and cultivate mindfulness in your flow practice. Each workshop will begin with a brief discussion of related anatomy and core philosophical principles before moving into a smart, satisfying flow practice. More Replacing force with understanding: How to do arm-balances with greater refinement and less force Saturday, June 29, 2013 – 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm - More In this workshop you will untie those knots in your hips and learn how to approach arm-balances with patience and ease. More Taking Refuge: How Side-bends, Twists, and Forward Bends soothe the mind and release stress Saturday, June 29, 2013 – 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm - More You can expect a long, slow, deep practice of side-bends, twists, and forward bends culminating in a savasana that you won’t want to end.
