Dina has been practicing yoga since the early 90s, when she began to understand its potential as a tool to promote a healthy, toned and supple body, whilst engaging a deeper and more expansive outlook on life. She has been teaching since 2000, informed by more than 700 hours of accredited training embracing different traditions including alignment-based Dynamic Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation and Pranayama (breathing exercises). Her classes reflect this diversity and always veer toward lightness and humour. Yoga and laughing are not mutually exclusive! She is accredited by both British Wheel and Yoga Alliance (500hr) and is a mentor on the Yoga Campus Teacher Training programme in London. On this retreat we will wake gently with a pre-breakfast routine of slow stretching, stimulating Pranayama (breathing exercises) and an introduction to Meditation. There will be a longer mid-morning practice building into a Dynamic Flowing sequence synchronized with breath, and developing strength and stamina. This will be offered in a step-by-step format, becoming gradually more challenging during the week to allow participants to progress at their own rate. The late afternoon sessions will be more relaxing, working more slowly and restoratively, encouraging softness and flexibility and leading into the deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra ('yogic sleep'). The aim is for participants to learn enough to take home a daily practice suited to their own needs. This course is open to all levels including beginners and more experienced practitioners.

Typical Daily Schedule This yoga holiday retreat is 8 days long; we will start in the afternoon of the 05th and finish around lunchtime on the 13th January. The following is the basic schedule we will follow daily, with the exceptions of the first and last day and a rest-day we will take in the middle. This schedule is flexible and may be adjusted to any special needs or wishes of the group. • 8:00am – 8:30am Morning practice including Stretching, Pranayama and Meditation • 8.:30am Breakfast • 10am-12.00 Dynamic Flow Yoga • 12.30-5.00pm Lunch and then freetime to enjoy the beach, have a relaxing massage or simply be. • 5:00pm – 6.30pm Practice including Pranayama, Resorative/Yin Yoga and Meditation/Relaxation • from 7:00pm Dinner and Free time
