A GUIDE TO THE DAILY SCHEDULE:
7.00 am: 2 hours morning yoga
9.00 am: scrumptious buffet breakfast
10.30 am: depart for one of our inspiring days guided mountain hikes
1.30 pm: picnic lunch or we eat at a wonderful local restaurant
3 or 4 pm: back at the hotel take a bath, have a massage or simply put your feet up in beautiful surrounds
6 - 8 pm: afternoon restoration yoga
8.00 pm: we enjoy a delicious home cooked Spanish dinner
9.00 pm: Evening yoga nidra for a good night's sleep

**On the last day we go to a dedicated hydrotherapy thermal waters spa with jacuzzi, jet pools, steam room, sauna, etc for deep soothing after the weeks adventure. Cost approx 12 Euro.
About the yoga: Yoga is taught by Jen Warakomski who's inspirational classes are designed for all levels, from the complete beginner to the more experienced practitioner. Lots of individual attention and adjustments are given in the classes and everyone is well looked after.
About the hiking: We walk beautiful mountain trails, averaging approximately 15 km per day, accompanied by friendly and knowledgeable hiking guides who fill our days with a soulful blend of scenic hiking, historical insights, traditional experiences and wonderful food. We Savour local Asturian cuisine, sample aromatic cheeses and sip the traditional beverage, Sidra Asturianu, a cider made from locally grown apples. We trek through scenic gorges and alongside babbling brooks; dine in local taverns; explore 10th-century churches and relax under Spain’s oldest yew tree, El Tiexo, planted more than 1000 years ago in a sacred meadow.
About the location & accommodation: We stay in a a picturesque rural hotel in the stunning Quiros Valley of the Asturian Region. All rooms are spacious and have en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs, patios with village or valley views and lovely décor. There’s a laundry with washer and dryer for guest use, high speed internet and WIFI, TV room and library and lots of private areas to soak up the Spanish mountain air and warm sun.
About the food: Our retreat meals are delicious and abundant using fresh ingrediants. All meals are vegetarian and mainly wheat and sugar free. For lunch we either buy supplies for a group picnic on our hike or eat at local restaurants where you can sample all sorts of regional specialities. Wine is included with our hotel dinner and special dietary requests can be catered for.
