Enjoy practising the ancient arts of yoga and meditation. Both methods aim at developing a clear and peaceful mind, undisturbed by and unattached to whatever presents itself to consciousness. Whereas Hatha Yoga tries to achieve this by a combination of asanas and breath awareness, which is at the same time designed to make our bodies strong and supple, in meditation we are invited, by sitting still, to be mindful of all physical, emotional and mental states.

Nick's yoga practise is based on Iyengar yoga, which emphasizes precision and alignment, and, by sometimes using props such as e.g. belts and blocks, can facilitate a better understanding and experience of asanas. And his medtation practice is based on the Buddhist Vipassana tradition. All morning sessions will consist of practising asanas in a dynamic and vigorous way and special attention will be given to beginners. The evening sessions will focus on meditation and restorative postures. Yoga and Buddhist philosophy will feature too, and for those interested, these can be further discussed.
