Somatic Ecstatic is truly an opportunity to celebrate your body (and it will thank you for it!). We dance free-form, from the inside out, with inviting and provocative facilitation designed to help you get in touch with your conscious body-mind. We dance our joy, connect within, honor our mind-body-emotion-spirit connection, and find little and big ways to simply let go. There is no particular way to move (all moves are right moves!) and a non-judgmental, exploratory space is held at each dance to allow for each dancer to connect deeply to Self and Other. The elements used in Somatic Ecstatic are: breath, music, movement, visualization, connection, embodied and somatic awareness/release, and creativity. Cost: $10 Bring: a water bottle, a towel, and an extra layer of clothing for cool down
