	This course will ready the practitioner to work with clients, or groups of clients, suffering from anxiety, panic and post traumatic stress disorders using Yoga Therapy techniques, and complementary alternative modalities. The training includes lectures, discussions and experiential lessons in the following areas: ancient yoga techniques (asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dhyana, yoga nidra, svadyaya, aparigraha, ), Integrative Yoga Therapy (Koshic model), Ayurveda, behavioural therapy, spirituality, western perspectives (musculoskeletal, biochemical systems, neurophysiology), acupressure, acupuncture, sound therapy, aromatherapy and nutrition. These are all important factors that address the complex issues that present with anxiety disorders. A total wellness program must address the whole person, mind, body and spirit.
