The position of hands while practicing a meditation technique is important. At first it may seem to be an insignificant aspect of meditation practice, yet it has been found by the rishis throughout the ages that wrong position of the hands can severely curtail successful meditative practice. The word bandha means “to hold”, or “lock” and this describes the physical action necessary to perform these practices. Bandhas are a small but very important group of yogic practices. They are an essential part of kriya yoga, where they are combined with various other yogic techniques. This workshop will introduce those mudras that have been helpful for meditational practices, and bandhas that are a preliminary for kriya practice. Dress comfortably and bring your yoga mat. (Qualifies for 3 CEU credits with Yoga Alliance.) (Required for 200 and 500 TTP students.)

Cost: $25.00
