Become an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist. In this final unit, Clinical Use of Ayurveda and Yoga, learn to work with private clients using yoga and ayurveda; assessment, developing a treatment plan, practice client interaction and making individual "prescriptions" for yoga, diet and lifestyle interventions. Learn practical application of yoga and ayurvedic psychology, dinacharya (daily routine), cleansing, asana, pranayama and mediation. Includes additional training on the nadis (energy channels) and an introduction to tongue and pulse diagnosis. This final weekend will be a "field trip" to the Himalayan Institute and is open to any student who has completed the first three units. The cost for lodging and food is included in the weekends tuition. |
