We all need time to unplug and unwind. Going on retreat is your opportunity to let go of daily life and immerse yourself in a period of deeper yoga practice and self-reflection. This is not the same as a vacation per say, but something that is more profound and transformative.
In this retreat, we will practice yoga postures, breathing, and meditation in relation to yoga’s traditional five Elements (tattwas). Between our group meetings, you have the opportunity to explore the elements through journaling and self-reflection assignments. We use the 5 elements to understand the laws of nature, and when combined with an understanding of the yoga theory of macrocosm and microcosm, we can tap into the wisdom of the laws that govern our being.
