Whether you want to expand your practice, share yoga with your family or friends, or teach classes, this training will deepen your relationship to yoga. The length of this training ensures you have time to assimilate your knowledge, begin to live your yoga, and transform your life.

One of the many highlights of this program is that all students go through the 9-month process together. A potent and supportive sangha (practice group) is formed and profound relationships are built. Learning in this way, you will feel safe to dig deep, shift patterns, and expand in new and exciting ways. Students will connect with a yoga buddy (fellow student) for support and motivation. Each student will also have a mentor teacher (one of the three trainers) to provide reflection and refinement to the student.

The asana portion of this program will emphasize proper alignment to create stability and freedom. You will learn how to modify postures to fit all bodies and their therapeutic applications. Anatomy study will be experiential, illuminated through images, hands-on work, and kinesthetic practice. We will highlight sequencing as the means to safely and effectively open the body.

Learn pranayama to access the vital energy of the breath to stabilize the emotions and mind. Practice chanting to cultivate a strong connection to your heart. The timeless philosophy of yoga is the foundation of the practice and provides powerful support in navigating modern life. Yoga philosophy study will be creatively offered and accessible to all students.

Upon completion of the Transform Your Life Yoga Teacher Training you will have the skills necessary to teach a basic yoga class, assist experienced teachers, and become a leader in the community.
