This Special Drum Circle and Workshop will include a wide variety of rhythmic and tonal experiences, leading you to discover a new sense of joy, expansion and freedom! You will also feel more centered, clear, calm, focused and connected to Source while having fun and drumming! We will jam and drum with Intention using a variety of Drums, Singing Bowls, Rattles and Shakers. We will come to Center, practice Mindfulness and Meditation, clear our minds and balance our Chakras using drums and ancient, sacred sound formulas! No experience or “talent” needed! ALL are welcome! Come, experience the power of group drumming and Sound Healing! Valerie Hopkins is a Certified Drum Circle Facilitator and Transformational Rhythmic Event Clinician. She is also a Professional Musician and Educator. Val is currently writing and recording music for a Sound Healing project, researching various aspects of Therapeutic Drumming for Corporate Wellness Programs and Special Needs Students, and developing an elementary school curriculum using drum circles to model the qualities as set forth in the book “The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People.” (By Dr. Steven Covey)
