ABOUT ADAM LOVELACE: Adam G Lovelace is a California native residing the Napa Valley. Intrigued with food since time immemorable, He graduated with honors from New York's CIA (The Culinary Institute of America) and worked steadily in FOH management in Sonoma Valley, Washington DC, Cape Cod, and San Francisco. After a heart attack @ 28, he began to put more emphasis on exploring his oft neglected spiritual evolution. A practicing angry yogi on the mat, the movements were merely for exercise. Rather than suffer another heart attack, he and three friends did a 21 day vegan challenge (in conjunction with Kathy Freston's book, "quantum wellness"). Subsequently, he quit his culinary dream job and liquidated, heading to Thailand and India for a crash course in understanding and exploring the self. He received his 200 hour teacher training from Rishikesh Yog Peeth in foothills of the Himalayas along Ma Ganga. After traveling through Varanasi and hearing about a special Baba overseeing Bal Ashram, he made a point to visit the sister California ashram and meet his spiritual guru, Sri Sri Aughar Harihar Ramji. Life has never been the same since.
He relocated to Humboldt County to pursue his dream of becoming an organic farmer and integrate the teachings of his newfound lineage. In 2012, Adam joined his partner Jehfree Spirit to expand www.oneyogalife.com and pursue a suburban plot that he could grow a permaculture based yoga farm and apply the principles of "eight paths to self-sufficiency"- their book and training program (in progress) designed to assist humanity in returning to a more sustainable Earth based life. Adam is excited for his first Guatamalan journey, and can't wait to be inspired by each of the students joining him on this extraordinary food and yoga adventure.
