	This winter intensive workshop takes place at Yogawest between Christmas and New Year and will have as its theme the idea of Absorption (Samadhi) as expressed in the teachings of Patanjali and its practical expression and application in asana and pranayama as taught by BKS Iyengar. Workshop timings: Thursday 27 December 1.00pm to 4.00pm Friday 28 December 10am to 3.00pm Saturday 29 December 10.00am to 1.00pm Open to all levels and practitioners, we recommend a minimum of 6 months experience. Some time will be taken to explain the meaning of dharana, dhyana and samadhi as first described in the Yoga Sutra but the focus will be on the application of these terms in the technology of the asanas and pranayamas so that a practical experience of the conditioning purposes of yoga is made available. Cost: £95 for the 3 days if booked and paid for before Nov 27th. Bookings made after Nov 27th are £105 with a £5 discount for AIYI members. Individual workshops: £30/£55/£30
