Fly into the traditional Garifuna town of Dangriga on the coast of the stunning Caribbean Ocean, where we will pick you up and take you to the Center nestled in the beautiful Maya Mountains. There you will arrive to a quiet and quaint environmental center to relax in Hammocks or swim in tropical swimming holes overlooking the beautiful mountainous jungle landscape.

This 7-day yoga retreat, intended for beginner and intermediate yoga students, will allow you to learn and practice various styles of yoga as well as meditation in a beautiful and quiet environment while participating in activities where you may immerse yourself in Belizean cultural and environmental tradition. This all-inclusive retreat will include all accommodations and meals of Belizean fare (vegetarian and vegan friendly), including fresh juices and local and mostly organic ingredients. The retreat also includes local Kriol and Garifuna music performances, a Belizean cooking workshop, jungle hiking and cave exploration, wildlife watching, and as much relaxing as you wish along with two nights stay on the beach at the Pelican Beach Resort.

We offer very comfortable and spacious shared cabins (4 beds to a cabin) that overlook the beautiful Maya Mountains and jungles of Belize. Linens, blankets for those cooler nights, and pillows are all provided. We offer tropical outhouses near the cabins, but we also offer flush toilets in the common area. We also offer beautiful solar heated jungle showers.

The price for this 7-day retreat not including flights is $999.00 US. This includes return transportation from Dangriga (domestic flight from Belize City is required) to the education center, meals, lodging, and cultural and environmental activities. Rum beverages and white wine are not included but are provided at cost. For guests wanting to travel directly to the center on Day 1 without shuttle service from Dangriga, public transit is available from Belize City. We will arrange all of your in-country transportation.
