When was the last time you really felt relaxed? What was it like? Where were you? What were you doing?
Relaxation is vital to your health. When the body collapses at the end of a hard day’s work, it’s not enough to simply become inactive or less active, many tensions are still clinging within the body and mind such as, stray thoughts, impressions, obsessions, to do lists, etc.
Relaxation practices are signals to the nervous system that it’s time to slow down. The Power of Relaxation urges us to take control over our ‘down time’ so that we can optimize our body and minds’ ability to restore, reset, and rest.
