Yoga teachers-- especially relatively new ones--often feel uncertain about how to offer correction or even whether to touch students at all. On the other hand, touch is a terribly important sensory modality & one which can be said to drive much of psychological and spiritual development. So it could be argued that it would unethical not to touch students. We hope to help you think through how YOU can use touch in your own nurturing and growthful way. (Qualifies for 3 CEU credits with Yoga Alliance.) |
