Srivatsa Ramaswami is the longest standing student of the legendary Sri T. Krishnamacharya, outside of the teacher’s immediate family, having studied with him over three decades.

Krishnamacharya’s other well-known students include B.K.S. Iyengar (Iyengar Yoga), Pattabhi Jois (Ashtanga Yoga), T.K.V. Desikachar (basis of Viniyoga), Indra Devi, and A.G. Mohan. Teacher Training (45 hours)

In this training, you will learn Ramaswami’s Vinyasa Krama Yoga, an ancient practice of physical and spiritual development. It is a systematic method to study, practice, teach, and adapt yoga. The vinyasa krama (movement and sequence methodology) approach to yogasana (yoga posture) practice is unique in all of yoga.

The week-long program will be focused on 700 Vinyasas woven around several classical postures taught in 10 major sequences. Emphasis will also be placed on breath synchronization with the movements so important to Krishnamacharya’s krama or method.

We will provide tea and snacks during the training.
