Music does help us to speak from our heart and soul. Singing is less about the quality of the sound we make than it is about the effect it has on us when we allow ourselves to sing. Joy naturally rises when we combine our voices ..... we smile, we release, we experience yoga/union on another level.

Through Kirtan we praise the divine in ourselves, in each other, in a higher power. You do not need any special musical gifts, you do not need to know the chants or songs before you arrive, you do not need to have a strong or beautiful or trained voice. You only need to come with a desire to make or enjoy music. It is your presence that is important. Come sing, listen, and be held in our musical community, our sangha.
