Satsang is a Sanskrit word that can be translated as "gathering in the company of the wise" or "gathering of persons who listen to, talk about and assimilate the truth" or more simply, "being with the truth." It's a traditional method of supporting the spiritual practice of students. My definition of Satsang also extends to include the inner voice of guidance and teaching that is awakened within you. In a world where the predominant focus of attention is placed "out there" - Satsang provides an environment that affirms the practice of looking within.
We will start our time together with a silent meditation, followed by a short talk or story led by Karen Kenney and finish up with a group discussion and Q & A. All are welcome! Feel free to invite a friend!
