ABOUT BRYAN do we really need to present BRYAN KEST, the founder of the original poweryoga and close friend of INNERCITYOGA to you…?
BRYAN belongs to the yoga world's most popular teachers. his presence attracts crowds and often, he teaches in front of hundreds of people, discovering the benefits of poweryoga.
BRYAN KEST has been practicing yoga for the past three decades. he initially studied with david williams, the first person to bring ashtanga yoga to america. he then studied intensively in india with k.pattabhi jois, ashtanga yoga's grand master.
BRYAN has been teaching yoga for 25 years and developped his own style of yoga in1979, turning more and more people on to a healthier, more peaceful lifestyle that continually challenges them to grow. poweryoga is a system of exercise that fully integrates the body, mind, and spirit.
the trend towards yoga replacing the gym's work-out routine, comes as no surprise to bryan kest, who believes that the body is limited and the mind is limitless. his poweryoga opens all variations of finding bliss, and comes together with a reinforced physical condition, a calm mind, serene and focused. thursday 22 may, 18h30-21h30 « POWERYOGA MASTERCLASS » BRYAN KEST will have an introductory talk about POWERYOGA and then take you on a wonderful journey of a well rounded, flowing asana practice integrating spiritual practice that enhance everyday living. The class is designed to invigorate the body and develop a calm, less reactive state of mind while practicing dynamic, flowing sequences. In Bryan's Power Yoga Master Class students are encouraged to focus on the spiritual process and not the end result. This allows ALL levels of yoga practitioners to enjoy and benefit from the experience.

He wanted students to have a choice of yoga practices that may not involve Sun Salutations or Standing Series. Bryan wanted to offer students a practice that is utterly potent without focusing on strength, endurance or even building much heat. Secondly,Bryan wanted students to experience the benefits of holding poses a little longer, giving massive areas such as hamstrings, groin, hips, shoulders, etc., more time to release and go deeper into poses. This is truly an amazing routine!! It is by FAR the most difficult class Bryan teaches, yet we rarely leave the floor. The challenge of Long, Slow, Deep is mostly primarily mental but hang in there, be patient and keep breathing deeply and fluidly. This class is suited for students of all levels. > register for the workshop with Bryan Kest LEVELS this workshop is open to all levels, but does not suit pure beginners (without any yoga experience); come train with us before the workshop!
