Join us for two hours of a focused yet light hearted approach to backward bends. We’ll look at the body, well beyond your spine, in what makes for a great heart opening, liberating and energetic backbend. It may not be what you think! Yoga is a whole body practice, so we sequence poses that address your legs, hips, core and shoulders to create a stable and energizing backward bend. We’ll use props, partners, and even bring out our trusted friend Cory (if you don’t know, ask!) Maintaining back bends in your practice will keep your spine healthy, your posture strong and spirits elevated. Workshop is 2 hours 2-4pm ; some yoga experience required. |
