This is for teachers Yoga Teachers, Yoga Teachers in training, Bodyworkers, Doulas and Midwives, those pregnant or planning on getting pregnant and anyone involved with pregnant women who want to teach a safe and effective on- going prenatal yoga class.

In this workshop you will learn how to:

• teach a multi-level prenatal class • teach prevention of back issues during pregnancy by stretching and strengthening the lower back, abdominal and pelvic floor muscles and opening the hips and sacrum. • integrate the baby into the practice • address relaxation and imagery while preparing the body for childbirth • integrate the chakras in a pre natal class

Cost: $200.00

No Prerequisites Required. Participants will receive 10 CEUs toward the Yoga Alliance Teacher Training. Nurses will receive 10 CEUs.

Carmela Cattuti a yoga teacher since 1994 began studying yoga in 1980. Carmela is a Kripalu certified instructor. She integrates Iyengar alignment with the fluidity of Kripalu movement. Her nursing background ensures a safe and grounded experience. Carmela is a pioneer in prenatal yoga in the Boston area and has taught countless women the art of integrating yoga into the labor and delivery experience.
