Yin Yoga + Yoga Nidra 4 Week Series w/ Jessa Thursdays 7:00-8:30 pm 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, 4/11 In this 4-week series, we combine the transformative practices of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra to cultivate awareness and release from unconscious habits and tensions.

Yin Yoga consists of softer, sustained holds in a series of postures to slowly lengthen the connective tissue around the joints while allowing muscles to relax. The holding of postures in this manner stimulates the meridians, or lines of energy in the body, which strengthen organ function, emotional balance and immunity. Through this quiet, yielding practice, yin qualities of flexibility, surrender and observance develop.

Yoga Nidra, known as “sleep with a trace of awareness” is an ancient technique for entering into a deeply relaxed state in which physical, mental and emotional tension is released. It has powerful effects upon alleviating negative habitual patterns and its practice is equivalent to hours of deep sleep

All are welcome! No yoga experience is needed.
