Come chill in the jungle in this wonderful hatha flow yoga retreat with Laura Smail. Includes tuition (2 long lessons/day), 3 tasty veggie meals & snacks & juices, twin-sharing accommodation in elegant huts, swimming in large lotus ringed lake, bike rides, hikes, excursions to local ancient heritage sites and much more.

Traditional Ayurvedic treatments in our clinic also available on option. One or two week stays.

Laura Smail

Laura is one of London's top upcoming Yoga teachers. As well as being a certified Yoga Teacher, she is also a trained Yoga Therapist, qualified in Ayurvedic Yoga Massage and is studying Tulayoga and Tulamassage. For the past few years, Laura has divided her time between the UK and Asia, spending two seasons as a resident teacher in a retreat centre in North Goa, as well teaching on several international retreats. When in London she teaches at two favorite East London studios: Yoga on the Lane and The Well Garden.

Inspired by the teachings of various styles of yoga, from Kundalini, to Scaravalli, to Ashtanga, she has drawn on the influences of teachers from all over the world. Laura now teaches a combination of mindful Hatha and Vinyasa flow, weaving the wisdom of the 5 elements into her classes. By creating an awareness of earth, water, fire, air and space and using yoga poses, sequences and breath-work to unblock and strengthen these core energy channels, her intention is to bring us closer to ourselves and to nature.

Morning classes will explore an energising and uplifting vinyasa style, while afternoon sessions will incorporate deeply restorative poses and explore simple meditations, yoga nidra and pranayama techniques.

With a successful career in the corporate world, Laura has firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the stresses of modern life. She is passionate about exploring the therapeutic benefits of yoga and guiding others along their paths to restore balance, health and happiness. Laura believes that the practice of yoga enables us to explore and release the physical tensions and emotional blockages that life builds around us, ultimately helping us to move closer towards our true essence.
