The hip joint is one of the largest and most versatile joints in the body. Full range of motion of the hips brings freedom to our back, our spine, knees, ankles and addresses our gait and posture. In this workshop we will work on increasing mobility and stability in all of the movements of the hips. It is said that we hold and carry emotions in the body. This workshop can help release stored toxins, both mental and emotional. Freedom in our hips, leads to freedom to sit for meditation. When the hips feel open and relaxed the mind also feels open and relaxed, allowing us to sit for longer periods of time in a state of peace. These peaceful rewards are felt long after yoga and meditation sessions end. This workshop is designed for all levels & will enhance your yoga and meditation practice, whatever stage you’re in. |
