This foundational course focuses on the practice and instructional methodology of essential hatha yoga techniques including asana, pranayama and deep relaxation. To build a ?better understanding of the principles of the Yoga Tradition, the course explores the history and philosophy of yoga, basic anatomy and physiology, and teaching methodology. Students get to apply their practical skills with the guidance and feedback of an experienced teacher. Upon graduation, students will be eligible to register with YogaAlliance as a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200), a standard requirement for most studios, gyms, fitness and wellness centers.
