Interested in learning about Kundalini Yoga? Kundalini is the life force that coils up the spine. Yogi Bhajan brought Kundalini Yoga to the West in the late 1970s. Kundalini Yoga uses ancient yogic techniques to unify body, mind and spirit. It is also referred to as the yoga of awareness, as it is done with the eyes closed. It is ideal for anyone looking to lower his/her stress level, achieve inner peace and improve his/her overall health and well-being…everyone, right? In this workshop, we will learn the basics of Kundalini Yoga (mantra – sound, pranayam-breathing, postures), and practice a kriya for disease resistance. Date: April 14, 2013 Time: 2:00-4:00pm Cost: $20 in advance, $25 at the door
