In Ayurveda, there are 6 tastes, each of which should be included in a balanced diet. Ayurvedic medicine has been practiced in India for over 5000 years with the principles to prevent disease, maintain health and bring rejuvenation to the body/mind/spirit. It's about living in harmony with your own constitution/Prakruti. Join us and explore the basic understanding of the 6 tastes. Learn how foods can support, aggravate or have a neutral effect on us; how to promote proper digestion and how to savor the tastes that correspond to your constitution. Participants will take a brief questionnaire to determine their dosha at the beginning of workshop, if dosha has not already been determined.
