Restorative & Yoga Nidra Series Thursdays 7:00 - 8:30 pm 6/6, 6/13, 6/20 and 6/27 with Jessa Walters

Embrace deep wakeful rest in this 4-week Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra Series. Using bolsters, blankets and blocks for support, Jessa will guide you into fully supported, restorative postures allowing the body to heal and replenish itself. As you connect with your breath in the postures, muscles begin to relax, hormones come into balance and symptoms of fatigue, anxiety and insomnia are relieved. This activation of the parasympathetic nervous system brings us into a state of equanimity and ease.

In the final relaxation pose (savasana), Jessa will guide you through the practice of Yoga Nidra, known as “sleep with a trace of awareness.” This ancient, systematic technique allows you to enter into a profoundly relaxed state in which deeply held physical, mental and emotional tension is released.
