Join Jessa for this special Winter Solstice class marking the longest night of the year. Enter into deep stillness and quiet through a combination of restful Restorative yoga postures and grounding Yin yoga poses. Both styles of yoga utilize an array of yoga props (blankets, bolsters and blocks) to fully support the body and provide a sense of ease. These supported poses facilitate deep letting go. Muscles soften and relax. The mind quiets down. Tension releases and a sense of well being arises. The experience will deepen through the practice of Yoga Nidra, "yogic sleep," a guided relaxation practice while lying in stillness on one's back. It is said that a half an hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to three or four hours of sleep. As the darkness of night falls, we will be illuminated by candlelight and held in the warmth and peace of our practice.

Please join us for this spacious and replenishing afternoon. No yoga experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome.
